SaferEquine.co.uk Terms & Conditions
These terms of sale apply to all goods supplied by Safer Equine. By ordering and/or registering online via Safer Equine’s website you automatically agree to be bound by them. Sometimes changes may be made to these terms and conditions by updating this page.
Any order placed by you for goods advertised on our website or via our marketing literature or at a show is an offer by you to purchase the goods selected in your order. No contract shall exist between you and Safer Equine for the sale of any goods until we have received your order and accepted it by email or telephone (which we may do at our discretion).
We will send you an order acknowledgement shortly after you place your order, notifying you that we have received your order. This acknowledgement is not notification that we have accepted your order. If we accept your order, we will notify you by email or telephone that we have accepted it prior to dispatch of the goods. If we cannot accept your order (for example (but without limitation) because the goods are found to be unavailable in the colour requested) we will notify you by telephone or email.
Goods being ordered should be checked carefully by you to ensure they will meet your requirements before an order is placed as Safer Equine will not be liable to exchange goods that have been ordered incorrectly. Safer Equine is entitled to withdraw from any contract in case of errors or inaccuracy regarding the goods or the order appearing on the site. Safer Equine reserves the right to alter prices, colours, designs and specifications at any time should it be necessary to do so. The contract is subject to your statutory right of cancellation.
Safer Equine cannot guarantee that goods ordered will be held in stock for immediate delivery as goods are sometimes made to order. During busy times this may result in delivery being anything up to 30 working days, however we will endeavour to deliver within 10 working days of order and payment whenever possible. Circumstances beyond our control may make delivery times longer. When you place an order you will be given a more accurate delivery estimate. Delivery estimates are just that and may be subject to delay if cleared payment is not received for the order or details of laser etching have not been approved.
All prices are quoted (excluding delivery) in pounds sterling. Orders placed online will show at checkout an estimated delivery charge which will only be valid for orders being delivered to the UK Mainland. Delivery charges are detailed below:
TO MAINLAND UK: 1 pair: £15.99; 2 pairs: £26; 3 pairs: £39, 4 pairs: £52, 5+ pairs £75.
OUTSIDE OF MAINLAND UK: Delivery charges quoted on orders placed via the website will ONLY apply to UK Mainland Orders. For orders to be delivered beyond the UK Mainland, delivery charges will vary according to order size and delivery location and will be quoted on an individual basis and will be in addition to that quoted on the website. These delivery charges must be confirmed by email or telephone by Safer Equine and no contract shall exist prior to written agreement on such delivery charges.
Bespoke orders may be priced and agreed with the customer on an individual basis.
All prices are in pound sterling and subject to the delivery charges stated above. All goods must be paid for in full before dispatch. Any orders include bespoke items will require payment at the time of ordering. Secure on-line payment may be made at the time of order. Cheques will be accepted but goods will not be dispatched until full payment has cleared. Goods remain the property of Safer Equine until paid for in full.
Delivery dates are given as an estimate. Delivery times within a certain 24 hour period unfortunately cannot normally be stipulated.
All goods ordered may be collected from Safer Equine Willoughby on the Wolds, Leicestershire if this arranged at the time of placing an order. Alternatively, a nationwide delivery service is available via a national courier or Safer Equine’s own vehicle. Please note accurate postal codes are required for courier deliveries and delivery to fields or similar places without postcodes will not usually be possible.
All deliveries made via courier must be carefully checked and signed for as Safer Equine cannot be liable for any damages or shortages if goods have been signed for as received in full and in good condition.
You can return any of the goods received to Safer Equine provided they are unused and in their original condition and packing or packing of similar quality and protection to prevent damage in transit. Any items should be returned within 14 days from the date of dispatch. Safer Equine does not use a freepost service for returned items. Safer Equine will refund or exchange the cost of the goods but is unable to refund the delivery charge for dispatching the goods.
